Renaming Royal Docks

Commissioned by the Greater London Authority, Street Space ran a series of creative online engagement activities during March 2021 in collaboration with community partners to help name places and spaces across the Royal Docks area. Through carefully devised conversations we sparked interest, built momentum and began to create meaningful connections within the local community. By inviting the sharing of intimate and epic stories from the past, present and future we were able to support the co-creation of a list of names for the street outside the new GLA base, a significant landmark for London which was then decided by a public vote.
