Woodhouse Moor

Commissioned by the University of Leeds’ Cultural Institute we are leading community engagement and a collaborative design process to generate ideas for creative interventions to be tested in Woodhouse Moor during summer 2024 aiming to make the park feel safer and more welcoming for everyone.

Through a series of pop ups, walk & talks in the park and creative activities with a range of local stakeholder organisations we have been listening to people’s experiences and perceptions of the park. During March we gathered together 12 local people to form a collaborative design group to delve into the detail of what we’ve heard so far and develop ideas together to test in the Moor. You can catch up on the latest update on the project here.

Wow is the word! I think this is a fantastic piece of work. Well done to Street Space, lots of useful research and innovative, practical ideas.
