Windmill Drive
Working in partnership with Phil Jones Associates, Street Space were commissioned by Lambeth Council to deliver community engagement activities to shape the design of a permanent traffic filter along Windmill Drive in Clapham Common. Engaging with park users, young children, councillors, community members and a range of community organisations we were able to identify key insights to underpin the design and test with local people. Through interviews, model making sessions, observation, workshops and roundtable sessions we engaged 200 local people in the development of the concept designs which have now been adopted by the council through a formal consultation process.
